1. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing access to the course "Prompt Engineering by Acutis Institute" (the "Course"), you ("Student", "you") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") in their entirety. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Acutis Institute OÜ ("Institute", "we", "us"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not complete your purchase.

2. About the Institute and Certification

Acutis Institute OÜ is a private educational institute registered under the laws of the Republic of Estonia. We operate within the European Union and issue our own professional certificates of completion.

• We are not a university, college, polytechnic, or state-regulated educational institution.
• We are not accredited by any national or EU-level accreditation body for higher education.
• Certificates issued by Acutis Institute are professional credentials issued on behalf of Acutis Institute OÜ only. They are not equivalent to academic degrees, diplomas, or state-recognized qualifications.
• The value and recognition of the certificate is at the discretion of third parties (employers, clients, institutions) and is not guaranteed by Acutis Institute.
• The certificate states that the holder has completed the Prompt Engineering course as defined by Acutis Institute's curriculum and assessment criteria.

3. Course Access and Duration

Upon successful payment, you will be granted access to the Course content for a period of five (5) calendar months from the date your payment is confirmed ("Access Period").

• Access begins on the date of payment confirmation.
• Access expires automatically at the end of the five-month period regardless of your progress.
• We do not offer extensions to the Access Period except at our sole discretion in exceptional circumstances.
• After the Access Period expires, you will no longer be able to access course materials. Downloaded materials (where download is permitted) may be retained by you for personal, non-commercial use.
• We reserve the right to update, modify, or remove course content at any time. We will endeavor to notify enrolled students of significant changes.

4. Payment and Pricing

The Course is priced at €97 (ninety-seven euros) as a one-time payment for five-month access. All prices are inclusive of any applicable Estonian VAT where required by law.

• Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Acutis Institute does not store your payment card details.
• The price displayed at checkout is the final price. No additional fees are charged by Acutis Institute.
• Currency conversion fees, if applicable, are determined by your bank or card provider and are not within our control.

5. Refund Policy

All sales are final. Acutis Institute does not offer refunds under any circumstances once payment has been processed and course access has been granted.

By completing your purchase, you explicitly acknowledge and agree that:

• You waive any right to a cooling-off period under EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU with respect to digital content, as course access is delivered immediately upon payment and you have consented to immediate performance.
• The no-refund policy applies regardless of course completion status, technical difficulties on your device, change of personal circumstances, or dissatisfaction with the content.
• If you experience genuine technical issues preventing access to the course platform, you must contact us at legal@eaoai.eu within 48 hours of enrollment. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve access issues but this does not constitute grounds for a refund.

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under Estonian or EU consumer protection law with respect to services not delivered or materially misrepresented.

6. Certificate of Completion

A digital Certificate of Completion will be issued to students who:

• Complete all required course modules within the Access Period;
• Successfully submit and pass the capstone project assessment as graded by Acutis Institute; and
• Complete the peer review requirement.

The certificate is issued in digital format (PDF) and includes a unique verification code. Acutis Institute makes no representations or warranties as to how the certificate will be received or recognized by any employer, institution, or third party. The certificate is a record of completion of the institute's own curriculum and is issued solely on behalf of Acutis Institute OÜ.

7. Intellectual Property

All course materials, including but not limited to video content, written lessons, prompt templates, exercises, and assessments, are the intellectual property of Acutis Institute OÜ and are protected under EU and international copyright law.

• You are granted a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access and use the course materials for personal educational purposes only during the Access Period.
• You may not reproduce, distribute, publicly display, sell, sublicense, or create derivative works from any course material without prior written consent from Acutis Institute.
• Sharing your login credentials or access link with any third party is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate termination of your access without refund.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Share, resell, or transfer your course access to any third party;
• Record, screen-capture, or reproduce course video content;
• Use course content for commercial training or instruction of others without a separate commercial license from Acutis Institute;
• Attempt to circumvent access controls or reverse engineer the course platform;
• Submit false or plagiarized work in the capstone project assessment.

Acutis Institute reserves the right to terminate your access immediately and without refund if you breach any of the above.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The course is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Acutis Institute makes no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that completion of the course will result in employment, salary increases, or any specific professional outcome. AI and prompt engineering is a rapidly evolving field; course content reflects the state of the art at the time of publication and may become outdated.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Acutis Institute OÜ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Course. Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the Course shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Course (€97).

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Estonia. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tallinn, Estonia, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence provide otherwise.

If you are an EU consumer, you may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

12. Changes to These Terms

Acutis Institute reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued access to the Course after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We recommend reviewing these Terms periodically.
